This free expense tracker template provides a clear snapshot of your monthly spending. It is straightforward, and you can track your expenses by category and by the payment method used. It also includes easy-to-read charts, allowing you to visualize your spending patterns for the month.

To start using this tracker, list down the payment methods you usually use and the categories of your expenses together with their corresponding budget under the columns provided (blue-colored header). Please do not edit the gray-colored cells (pink-colored header) and the charts as they contain formulas and settings that may not work properly when modified.

The payment methods and categories you list will be added to the dropdown menus in the main expense tracker area (purple-colored header). You can then start tracking your expenses by adding the date, category, description, payment method, reference, and amount associated with each expense. The charts will appear once you start adding your expenses.
